PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:  Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (NASB)

Remember that prayer isn’t just getting down on your knees to summon God, prayer is offering everything we have and do for His kingdom.  Prayer is our conversation, prayer is our listening, prayer is our work/chores, prayer is our joy, prayer is the very breath we take.  Sometimes when I kneel to pray all I can think to say is thank you.  One day as I repeated “thank you” several times, I thought to myself – is that enough?  What I came to realize through God’s grace was that it is enough.  It is enough because through the thank you I was accepting God’s will for my life.  I was thanking him for all the good and the bad and all the stuff in between.  Isn’t that what it’s all about?!  God bless you!
